What it does

Popup or side panel claim dashboard.

The extension is designed for claim and appeal status visibility, not for credential capture or hosted claim storage.

Claim and Appeal Status

Displays supported VA.gov claim and appeal status data, including current phase, phase dates, jurisdiction, documents-needed status, decision-letter status, and related response details when VA.gov exposes them.

Popup and Side Panel

Use the compact popup for quick status checks or the optional side panel to keep the dashboard visible while browsing VA.gov.

Redacted Summary Copy

Claim IDs are hidden by default in the UI, and copy-summary output is redacted for safer sharing.

Quick VA.gov Links

Includes shortcuts to VA claim letters, VA profile, payment history, VA Companion website tools, and the desktop app page.

Store status Chrome, Edge, and Safari are published.

Current published versions are Chrome 0.2.2, Edge 0.2.1, and Safari 0.2.3. Those stores list 234 public users combined, last checked July 21, 2026. Safari counts come from the public Apple store listing and are separate from App Store Connect analytics.

Privacy boundary

Extension records stay in browser extension storage.

The browser extension stores captured claim and appeal records locally in the user's browser extension storage so it can show the popup or side panel dashboard. Claim and appeal records are not sent to VA Companion servers.

No credentials

The extension does not collect VA.gov usernames, passwords, MFA codes, cookies, tokens, or authentication credentials.

No payment data

The extension does not collect SSNs, payment information, bank details, or card information.

Clear local data

Users can clear locally stored extension records from inside the extension or by removing the extension from the browser.
